“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way.
2 Thessalonians 3:16“
God wants us to have, “peace at all times and in every way”. Moses had peace when he crossed the Red Sea. “Do not be afraid, He told them, “Stand firm and you will see the deliverance God will give us today!”
The Lord is still fighting for you, today. Exodus 14:13-14 13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
When we hold our peace and remain at rest in difficult circumstances we Glorify God. We make God’s name glorious by resting in him, then it’s obvious the peace we are experiencing isn’t coming from our circumstances but from God.
When we do the opposite, become agitated and disturbed by our circumstances, we allow the devil to succeed. Jesus said, in John 14:27 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Many times we find It hard to hold onto peace and joy but it is a choice we make every day. We chose to be peaceful and joyful or we let the devil intemmidate us to be fearful and unsettled.
You can make the right choice. Will you choose peace and joy in Christ regardless of any situation you find yourself in?
