Psalm 139:5 KJV “Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid Thine hand upon me“
August 8th was my birthday. it was on a beautiful Sunday. We had a wonderful Church service. The entire day had been such a blessing. I had as many birthday wishes as there are stars in the sky. I thanked God for His faithfulness in showing up in a mighty way. I had the honor of witnessing firsthand how good God is. I received an email that my first novel, Mountain Majesty, “Can she ever call Tennessee and the Cloudland Hotel home,“ was released and available on Amazon and ? Needless to say, I was on a God-high and loving every minute of it. God was so present. It was easy to see Him on this day.
During this spiritual bliss, I was reminded to look for God in all things. Do you look for God in all things? Do you see God in all things? Can you see good in good times and in bad times?

The following Tuesday, we found out that our Grandkids best friend, 15 year old Haley, had been killed instantly, in a car crash. Our prayers are with Haley’s family. Please pray for her parent’s, Suzanne and Mike and their family. I just don’t have words to express how terrible this tragedy is. Haley was like a second child to our son and daughter in law. They and their kids all grew up together.
Dear Lord, sometimes we fail to fail to see Your presence in every aspect of our lives. In times of bliss and times of need. Yet we know You are there. Help us to always look for You, even when times get tough. Help us to trust You and believe that You are with us every moment of my life. Most of all, please help us to remain faithful.
