It’s DAY#3 of Our Spring Women’s Challenge for 2021. Our topic is “Telling Our Story” Today’s topic is “Prepared to Tell our Story”

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” 1 Peter 3:15.

As Christians, each and every one of us has a testimony—a story of the way that Christ has worked in our lives. Regardless of your background or past, God wants to use the stories of both the hardships and the victories in our lives to transform the lives of those around us. It is truly a beautiful thing how He can redeem even the most difficult parts of our lives and use them to impact others for the Kingdom. By telling your story, you truly are telling God’s story!

Here are some ways you can be prepared to share your story.

  • Study God’s word and know the answers to the questions.
  • Live your life because people are always watching.
  • Go out of your way to show dignity to others.
  • Be alert for opportunities to go deeper with them.
  • Listen well.
  • Share your story, but leave room for conversation.

When we share our stories of Christ and when we share why we believe in God, we are to do it lovingly. It’s not a time to get defensive, be driven to anger, or for it to become a debate. We have to watch out for that. We have to be our best selves when sharing our stories. Know what the bible says and be able to show it to anyone at any time. Let them read it for themselves.

Be ready to give an account of what you believe and why you have the beautiful hope we have . Our hope is because of Christ.

By Being Prepared to Tell your Story to others!

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” 1 Peter 3:15.
